Interview
What brought you to the Czech Republic, and what made you join the EUFRAT team? I cam to Czechia for purposes of study for PhD in Special & Inclusive Education. I joined the team due to my passion in developing other people even as I develop myself.
In my lessons, what do I usually use? I use visual graphics, on-line resources, social media, demonstrations, illustrations, role play, drama, debates, pantomimes and discussions among others.
What can the students look forward to? New vocabulary, better pronunciation, improved grammar, more self confidence, fluency, and communication skills.
What is, in your opinion, the mission of a language tutor? to facilitate his/her learners to communicate better in the target language.
And how would you describe your students? eager to learn, perceptive and focused people who have taken a step to challenge themselves to learn a new skill/language.
Is there a lasting lesson you hope students take from your classes? that language is the door to the culture of the speaker, and a tool for achieving collaboration, acceptance and deeper understanding.
What is, according to you, the best thing about EUFRAT? Giving opportunity to all: students and teachers alike.
Is there a message you would like to send to your future students? Growing others is growing yourself.
